2D animation

Now here you’ll know my 2D animation based in some scholar or personal works.

  • Just a monkey jumping

    Here our professor lent us his monkey drawing for us to rigg it and animate it in Toon Boom Harmony

  • Jellyfish vibing

    When drawing this jellyfish I separated by 3 elements for me to be able to rigg it and then animate it in Toon Boom Harmony.

  • Shield smear

    This is a rough frame to frame animation I did for my group shortfilm, I wanted it to look dynamic.

  • Sword smear

    Also a rough frame to frame animation but in this ocassion the character was attacking, a bit frightened, with his sword.

  • Rough for an animatic

    Here my team asked me for a transition where a Ball enter a pipe but they wanted it to be a bit dynamic, so this is what I did.

Personal Project

“My little anger” is a work in progress shortfilm that I want to upload to Youtube and if possible I aspire to participate in a competition.

This shortfilm tells the story of Gabe, a kid who is bullied by an older guy named Marty. In consequence Gabe decides to take revenge making a Voodoo doll out of Marty… However this doll becomes alive and start to make a total mess in Gabe’s bedroom. Gabe in despair tries to stop him but ends up hurting him. By then, Gabe sees himself in the doll eyes and realize how now he’s doing the same to the doll as Marty does to him.

Finally, Gabe just leaves the doll alone and then he takes back all of his anger out of them.
